Description

Dashmool Oil – Traditional Vata-Pacifying Abhyanga Oil for Postpartum and Joint Support

Dashmool tail is a classical Ayurvedic formulation prepared by processing ten Vata-pacifying roots (Dashmoola) in a Tila (sesame) oil base, along with strengthening herbs like Bala, Rasna, and Nirgundi.

It is traditionally used in postpartum abhyanga (massage) to restore balance in the body after childbirth, especially by reducing vata aggravation, easing muscle soreness, and improving joint mobility. This oil is also beneficial in chronic joint pains, backache, stiffness, or general body weakness.

The warming, nourishing, and grounding qualities of Dashmool Tail make it ideal for both postpartum mothers and individuals suffering from Vata-related imbalances like sciatica, arthritis, or fatigue. Please consult our vaidyas for more information.

How to Use

Usage:
Take a sufficient quantity of Dashmool Oil and warm it slightly by placing the bottle in warm water.

Application:
Apply to affected areas or whole body, and massage gently for 15–20 minutes in long strokes (for limbs) and circular strokes (for joints). Focus on lower back, abdomen, thighs, and soles during the postpartum phase.

Timing:
Best applied in the morning or evening, followed by a warm water bath after 30–45 minutes. Use daily or at least 3–4 times a week.

For Postpartum:
Begin using Dashmool Oil from Day 7 post-delivery (in normal delivery) and Day 14 (post C-section) or as advised by a physician.
